Be a good person, that’s all that matters.

My name is Samuel Demers. I’m a writer and narrative designer. I graduated from the University of Southern California in May of 2025 with a degree in Interactive Media and Game Design.

Stories and characters from video games have shaped who I am today. We have the power to tell stories that lift people out of dark times; write characters who inspire people to be better.
I wish to do the same for others with my work.

I have people in my life that I only met because we were able to connect through playing online together. These are people who I can say with confidence I never would have met otherwise and are now friends of 10+ years. The value of connection in interactive media is hard to understate;
I wish to be able to connect people with my stories.

Helping people is a goal without a finish line.

But that doesn’t mean it’s not a goal worth chasing.
